Like Support, I'm surprised to hear that the GridView inquiry is taking that much longer than the equivalent SalesAnalysis Inquiry.

If you would like to "File | Gather Files for Support" for your GridView example and upload it to https://portal.softrak.com/dbr to my attention, I'll take a look in some upcoming airport departure lounge and try and figure out why the View is taking do long to process.
