I'm pretty sure that you're seeing a Win 98 issue. However, GridView likes lots of RAM, and I'd suggest more that 128MBytes for XP anyway (even Home).

BTW - why the "yuck" for home? I never experienced any problems with it, and it certainly doesn't share the problems that Windows ME had compares to 98 SE.
