Thank you for taking your time to reviewing Adagio Cloud, and we appreciate your detailed observations.
I've replied inline to your questions:

Patricia and I spent a bunch of time going through Cloud Adagio this morning:

Setting up users:
The first time it came up with an Open Office user setup and asked for a name and password. This screen hasn’t returned for the second user.
There are changes being implemented which will improve how Open Office is accessed in the Cloud.

Then the regular ‘User Setup Maintenance’ was opened. It already had ‘user1’ setup which we had to delete so that a proper name could be given to the user.
This user was added as a default, in future provisions there will not be any users.

Adagio cloud login – password is not masked.
Currently, Adagio Cloud Client install currently does not mask the password but future version will. However, in Adagio Manager, User Setup Maintenance window, the password fields are masked, but there is a check box to reveal this field.

Adagio cloud install – auto adds user id and password to short cut. Please don’t.
We will consider making this optional. In any event, the shortcut may be edited and the password removed.

Multi-currency sample data:
Seems like you have to load one module’s data at a time and if you try to access MC or ePrint Cloud Adagio no longer sees the data for any module. For each module you get a message “There is no sample data for this application…”
I’ll elaborate the Sample Data Refreshing feature in a separate thread. How do you load the sample data?

Installs:
When Service Packs and Hot Fixes are available will they automatically show up in the list of ‘Available applications’?
Service Packs and Upgrades YES, however Softrak will install the HotFix if needed for a particular client.

File management:
Accessing ePrint documents other than through viewer?
Adagio File Browser will allow you this functionality – coming soon.

We see our Z drive (network shared drive). I thought this wasn’t possible.
You have access to two local Drives C & Z. Some clients may want to have a Shared Drive Z: to backup files or even save PDFs.
This was the reason for adding another Drive from your Local Machine. How would you reassign the drive letter?

If I save an ExcelDirect to the cloud drive c:\user\\documents, how do I access them later? Doesn’t seem to be a file manager or even a way to launch Open Office.
We will modify the Open Office default save location to be the Client’s Shared Folder when they are provisioned.

How to access the zip backups if they are on the Cloud Adagio drive? How do we restore a zip backup? How to restore one module out of a complete database backup? If I want to retrieve last week’s backup for testing, how do I do that? An update to Adagio Manager that will address most if not all of these issues.
Backups will be available for your retrieval: 5 most recents days and 5 most recent weeks.

Backing up to the local drive C (M drive) is a problem for unattended DataCare (user logs off or turns off computer or is on holidays and no one knows their password).
Softrak will do the backup of all listed companies on a nightly basis. We will also do a nightly DC on all of the companies to ensure that the backed up data is Error Free. This will not rely on users being logged on or not.

Missing from Sandbox:
Where is DataCare and Console?
These modules are currently going through QA but will be available as soon as this is complete.

Uploading data:
When uploading a database how do we upload our MC tables?
Separate and controlled uploading of MC files for a client will be available in the next release of Adagio Manager.

Loading a database is extremely slow. The first step was quick but then the copy files took over 30 minutes (1600 files = 550MB). Then we discovered that the files were unzipped to the wrong location and with no file manager there is no way to clean up the mess:( A second attempt to upload is taking forever just to finish the first step.
Adagio Manager is being updated to handle this part better. You will only be able to upload whole databases with a single ZIP file only.
This will prevent any false uploads when more than one file exists. A progress bar is being added to the Upload process. For now you will need to ensure that only one ZIP file is in the folder when uploading data.

User Access:

Though Admin can access the data when we log in as users we can see the companies and module icon but get an error message that no data exists.
The users must be “Paired” with Adagio in Admin-Manager. Only the modules that have data will show up In the user’s profile.
