Hello Investax,

There is nothing special that needs to be considered before you make the switch.

The only suggestion that I have is: Make sure that the user has Administrator rights when installing. The users will also need to have full rights to their stations.

You have the most current version of Ledger so the install and the workstation install will warn you if there are problems in the environment. Here are the relevant notes from Ledger Release notes:
- The install and workstation install now check the ?Opportunistic Locking? settings to ensure they are correctly set on the workstation. If the settings are incorrect, a warning is displayed and you are asked if you want to change the settings. Proper ?Opportunistic Locking? settings are required at each workstation (and on the server) to ensure the integrity of your accounting data in a multi-user environment.
- The install now checks to be sure the user has installation privileges to local machines running XP, 2000 or NT. When installing Adagio programs or running a workstation install on a network, you must be logged in as the actual User who will be running Adagio on the station, and this User must have installation privileges during the install; otherwise the installation may not be completed successfully.

I do not have a release date for the next upgrade to Ledger. Keep checking the site, announcements are posted here. Because you are on a support plan, you will also receive email notification of an Upgrade or Service pack.
