I have had so many clients request this.

The best way I could come up with is to create a Shipto address for each customer (who you want to email to) with a blank shipto code, so that it comes up by default when you enter an order, and enter the order confirmation email in the Shipto email address. When you email an order confirmation, move the dot over to Shipto, and when you email an invoice, move the dot to Billto.

Or if it's a rare occurrence, you can dispense with the first part of my trick, and simply enter the order confirmation email into the Shipto email address on the order itself.
