Hi Doug,

Thank you for your reply.

I took some measures that resolved our problem yesterday which I will share with everyone.

I have had exposure to ISAM in the past and noted the same kind of behavior when large indexes were open across several workstations on a less than perfect network.

This got me to thinking about our recent addition of Voip to our network and how our computers were now connected to the phone which was connected to the new fancy PoE router.

This was the only thing that has changed and of course, once thinking about it a bit it became obvious that to support Voip a small MTU block size is required which of course makes the phones work well but not so great with ISAM indexes.

So, i reconfigured our network and split the traffic up - voip on one and data on the other.

Problem solved!

Moral of the story: do not use Adagio on a network which is optimized for Voip.

Thank you for your suggestion to reach out to our Adagio dealer.

I did reach out and heard back from him (Tony Martin - a great guy) with confirmation about how a small MTU block size can affect Adagio.

Again, thank you for posting up, keep well and,

Cheers, JK
