Our accounting department to update our accout list in Adagio GL. We have created an excel spreadsheet with the following fields:
Account Code
Department Code
Description
Account Type.

Once the informat is correct we save the file as a CSV format. We do import accounts. The window opens, we select type of file, file name. Next we pick the 4 fields we want imported. Next we go to last tab and select the 4 fields and click Import. We then receive an error:
" is not a valid integer value
The colnums are formated as:
Account Code 6 spaces Right Justifed
Department Code 6 spaces
Description 30 spaces
Account Type 1 space.

All are formated as general.

About 4 months ago I did a small import and made the above notes in case I had to do another import again. This happened yesterday. Now I can not do it again.

We are using 6.8B 030131
We are using Win XP SP1 (Last time it was NT SP6a)
I'm doing it as myself (domain admin, last time may have been Administrator)

I've also used CSV formatted files for imports because most programs offer that as an option.
