Hello Ryan:
Building reports in Crystal Reports requires 2 types of knowledge: i) how to use Crystal itself and ii) the structure of the Adagio database. If someone starts without knowledge of at least one of those areas, I usually suggest speaking with their dealer to get over the initial hump.
On the other hand, if you have Crystal expertise already, then you can make use of an Adagio utility to generate Data Dictionaries. Look in the X:\Softrak\System folder (where X: represents the driver letter where Adagio is installed). You will see DataDictionaryExporter.exe. You should also see DDExporter.PDF which gives a nice and short explanation of how the utility works. Running the utility and following the instructions will generate an Excel workbook for each module in which you are interested.
