What versions of Adagio Invoices and Receivables are you using?
If the invoice was entered and posted from Adagio Invoices, does the tax discrepancy appear on the historical copy of the invoice?

A problem in a prior version of Adagio Invoices that was fixed in the current version 9.0B was that if a user was editing 2 details on an invoice concurrently that the tax on the totals got updated incorrectly. Really, multiple details on an invoice should not be edited concurrently and removing this prevents the tax calculation problem.

If you are running Adagio Invoices 9.0B, there are no known reason why this problem happened. We'd need to know a little more about the process you are doing to be able to assist further, and your Adagio consultant can also provide on-site assistance.
