We have been running BR for a number of years, so we are past the "Take-On Procedure" notes in the Help section.
The “Calc as of” amount for one of the Banks does not agree to our GL Bank Balance. (The amount is $1521 lower in BR compared to the GL balance.)
Everything else is correct in BR – all the transactions appear correctly, and everything that should be Open is marked correctly.
Question: How do we adjust the As Of Balance?
I was inclined to post a batch entry in BR, creating a so-called Receipt for $1521, and not posting this is in the GL.
My issue with this is that it appears that this will throw off our reconciliation when we go to reconcile the next period.
The reconciliation screen wants to mark this adjustment as Cleared but if we do this we are off by $1521 in the To Clear amount. (And, if I do not mark the entry as Cleared, it will stay forever.)
