In Quik Reports for Windows 6.2b

I am trying to create a report from the Inventory Control 6.5 files more or less as follows

(Header) Category_desc

Item number Description Quan_on_hand_start_of_month

Receipts Recpt_date Recpt_Quan
Recpt_date Recpt_Quan
TOTAL_Recpt_quan

Shipments Ship_date Ship_quan
Ship_date Ship_quan
Ship_date Ship_quan
TOTAL_ship_quan

Quan_on_hand_end_of_month

I can list the items from the IC65A Items file, group then by category, etc. However when I add fields from the IC65A Receipts file, QRW loses the connection to the data base entirely., and reports no data at all.

If I remove the fields from IC65A Receipts, I can refresh the data and get the items to display.

The Visual Linking Export shows a link between the Item number fields in the two files.

What am I missing here?
