Shortcut names for Adagio (or other Windows programs) will not auto-adjust based on installing an upgrade with a different version number. Some programs may delete the shortcut and replace it with a new one. Adagio won't do that because you might have put special parameters such as the user ID or the company path on the shortcut and that would be a real pain to replace.

All you need to do is single-left click on the shortcut, press the F2 key to Rename, and type in the version number - as you indicated.

The 'easiest' way to see the actually installed versions of all Adagio programs at a glance is to open any Adagio program (relatively recent release) and from the Help file, pick System Status. This will run the ChkSys utility. Once this is done, there is a 'List Versions' button that will list all the installed Adagio program versions for you. This list will even tell you if there is a more current version of Adagio available that has been released but you haven't yet installed.
