I can't really say exactly what might be happening without a little more information. If I understand, the Financial Statement is outputting a number that is different than what you are expecting based on what you see in Adagio Ledger.

A couple of questions:
- How is this total being calculated on the Financial Statement? Is it a sum of cells, or an =ADGET formula, or something else? If you can post here the formula used here to calculate the total, perhaps we can determine if this issue is related to how the formula is defined or another scenario.

- Are you trying to add amounts from a range of accounts and/or departments? Or perhaps a few individual accounts? It's possible that if you are trying to do a range of accounts, and departments are also used, that the syntax for the range isn't quite correct - resulting in unexpected numbers.

- Can you give an example of a total, along with the associated details, showing what's happening and what you expected to happen?

There is a new version of Adagio Ledger now shipping (6.8B) with an updated and improved Financial Reporter. One of the things we addressed is how account ranges are read and calculated, making it more intuitive, so perhaps this might be useful for you.
