Likely your financial statement was converted from another application, and the conversion process may have set the width of columns A and B to zero, rather than simply hiding. If so, this is likely why you cannot unhide. Just to be sure, click the box at the upper left of the sheet, to the left of the C and above the row 1. This should 'Select all'. Then try the Unhide Columns from the Format menu. If this works, then great!

If not, then try positioning your mouse to the immediate left of the box that has the C in it. The cursor should appear like 2 vertical lines and arrows pointing to the left and right. When you see this, left-click with the mouse and drag to the right. This should reveal column B. Repeat this to reveal column A.
