One file that might have been affected for that data set is EZSEMTAB.DAT. Make sure that nobody is in that data, any module, and rename/remove that file. When you next go to open any program for that data, the EZSEMTAB data file will be recreated. This file controls things such as multi-user locking.

There sometimes are temp files created and deleted during regular processing, but nothing a user is required to do manually; the program should do that automatically. If a machine does not have proper read/write/delete access to the data directory, problems certainly could exist.

Terminal services is a bit different compared to the typical client/server setup. Because this is a Windows program, a number of files need to be installed to the local C drive by the workstation setup. This of course isn't possible with Terminal services as there isn't the same concept of a local C drive. Therefore, there need to be a number of files that have to be copied to the user profile directory. The easiest way of doing this is to reinstall the program while logged into Terminal services, as this installs all those files for you.
