Hi bshapiro,

Is this a problem that just started happening, or has it been for a while? If this just started, then what has changed recently (ie new computer or network upgrade or other system changes)?

If no-one is in the software and you are getting this message, then one or more files are not getting written to or clearing correctly. Make sure that data and program files are shareable read/write on the network. This includes all files in the \softrak and subdirectories, and also the \3rdparty\working directory.

You might want to try re-installing any Multi-user paks you have, making sure that you choose the correct network drive.

Pathing is important in many places. Edit the QIWIN.INI file, found in the \softrak\qiwin directory, and look for an option near the top called 3PDrive. This is the location of the \3rdparty\working directory, and they should match. Make any necessary edits if required.

If this is a Windows NT/2000/XP machine, make sure Opportunistic Locking is disabled.

You may also have to delete and re-create the EZSEMTAB.DAT data file in your data directory. You can simply rename this file, and the next time you open Quik Invoice for Windows or any other program that uses this data, the file will be recreated.

Regards,
