Hi John,

Assuming you have sufficient rights and security on the new workstation, your software is current versions (PO8.1A) , and your Adagio is working properly on your network, you logon to the new workstation with a user profile with administrative rights, and you connect to the networked directory \Softrak\POWIN\WKsetup. From there run the wksetup.exe. Answer the prompts, and the POA application should install to your new workstation.

After completing the installation, we recommend also connecting to the \Softrak\system folder and run CHKSYS.EXE to ensure that your workstation is properly configured to work with Adagio. Your oplocks settings may need to be revised on a new workstation, and may require rebooting.

After installing POA, you will need to open the POA application and revise the finder settings for vendors and items throughout, so that only selected fields are displayed in the finder fields instead of the default of all fields. Unlike the other Adagio modules, the grid field properties are maintained locally on the workstation instead of with the user, so adding a new workstation would require reconfiguring the finder fields, and display grids.

If you have any other questions, you should contact your dealer/consultant for assistance.
