Hi Elvira,

The only significant difference between Quik Reports for Windows and Crystal Reports for Adagio is the version of Crystal that each is based on. Quik Reports for Windows is based on Crystal Reports 4.0, which is about 7 years old, and Crystal Reports for Adagio is based on version 8.5, which is the most current version available. This in itself is a very significant difference, providing much more reporting power and numerous new features.

Now that Crystal Reports for Adagio is shipping, this will replace Quik Reports for Windows for availability.

The tables that each use to read Accpac Plus or Adagio data will not change, so there will not be any compatibility differences. Every program that you use Quik Reports for Windows to report on (Sales Analysis, IR, AP/AR/GL/IC, etc...) can be reported on by Crystal Reports for Adagio.

Because of licencing constraints, Crystal Reports for Adagio is not available on our Sampler CD, and can only be demoed through one of Softrak's Business Partners. All of our other programs, including the entire Adagio suite (AR/AP/GL/IC/OE) is available on a Sampler CD to install and try out. It's a Windows-based system thazt is fully compatible with Accpac Plus 6.1 and 6.5.

Accpac International's Sales Analysis is a different program than the one from Softrak. Softrak's SA maintains detailed sales information from OE, Quik Invoice and CounterSales, and can also retrieve information from Invoice Sales History and AI's Sales Analysis. Online inquiry and statistics are available as well as tracking Paid invoices. It is a separate program from report writers such as Crystal Rpeorts and maintains it's own data. You certainly can use a report writer such as Crystal Reports to generate virtually any sales report that you keep data for.

AI's Sales Analysis is a DOS program for Accpac Plus and has been discontinued for a number of years.

I hope this was able to answer all of you questions. Don't worry about asking lots; that's why this forum is here!

Regards,
