Hi Andreas. YES, other people have experienced the same problem following the upgrade to AP 8.1B. It seems to be a rights issue with the APVEND files. Try this first: Make sure that you have rights to change rights. Go to your Adagio data folder and right click on the folder. Select properties and go to the security tab and hit advanced under the Permissions section.

There is an option there to replace permissions on child objects. Turn this on and hit Apply.

I had exactly this problem at another Montreal-based client just before Christmas and this fixed it.
