Hello Al
Right - Adagio does not support more than 2 decimal places. *** It is strongly recommended that you install the EVAL copy of Adagio on a local drive of a PC, rather than installing it on a Server - and always use the Eval with a COPY of your data - never use it on your LIVE data!!! ***
If you wish to take a good look at Adagio Inventory using the Eval copy, you have a couple of choices:
1. Use the sample data that came with Adagio.
2. Create a new 'Company' that mimics your own.
To implement the 3rd option, I would suggest careful consideration and the assistance of your ACCPAC Dealer if you are not comfortable with doing this yourself (ALWAYS make a backup of your live data before doing anything)...
3. You could take a copy of your live data, and convert it back to 2 decimal places before using it with Adagio.
IMPORTANT NOTE: If you are using the add-on Increase Decimal Places, my understanding is that you can 're-install' IDP and you will be prompted as to whether or not you would like to convert the data back to 2 decimal places. In order for this to not affect your live data, you may actually have to install ACCPAC on a workstation's local hard drive and point it to a local copy of your data for it to work successfully.
Regards,
