Crystal Reports is not very good at sending printed reports to Excel.

There is a simple Trial Balance statement in the financial reporter (\SOFTRAK\ALWIN\SAMDATA\GL!STRIAL.SAM) that will export better to Excel.

In Adagio Ledger V9.0B there is an Excel Direct button on the Chart of Accounts View that dumps a formatted Trial Balance into Excel.

What are you doing with this report in Excel? Would it not be easier just to create a "financial statement" in the designer that presents the information you're looking for?
