Problem when printing trial balance to excel

Hi, I am currently using Adagio GL version 8.0D. When I print the trial balance report to excel it is double spaced for some reason. Any suggestions on what might be causing this?

Crystal Reports is not very good at sending printed reports to Excel.

There is a simple Trial Balance statement in the financial reporter (\SOFTRAK\ALWIN\SAMDATA\GL!STRIAL.SAM) that will export better to Excel.

In Adagio Ledger V9.0B there is an Excel Direct button on the Chart of Accounts View that dumps a formatted Trial Balance into Excel.

What are you doing with this report in Excel? Would it not be easier just to create a "financial statement" in the designer that presents the information you're looking for?

Why are you running V8.0D when you have been paying for upgrades and we recently shipped you version 9.0B?

Hi, We are a little behind (remember the person who was still using DOS, that's us!), we are hoping to get 9.0 live in the next month once we get everyone else up to speed on their updated modules (A/P, A/R). Thanks for the advice, I will setup a trial balance in financial reporter.
