The SmartFinder in Adagio has been much improved for speed with the most recent updates - Receivables 90A and Order Entry 81C.

Also, the more results that are found by the search, the slower it will be to complete. So to make it faster, try to narrow down what you are searching for, perhaps by using the AND to search by 2 or more different criteria.
