When printing an Invoice or emailing it, if you answer NO to the question if it printed ok, the Printing Invoices window closes. This is ver disruptive if invoices are printed one at the time.

Our client emails and prints a hard copy of every invoice. That means that every time she needs to go to the Invoice list to print again and then return to the Order List.

Is there a new setting to leave this window opened?

I agree, and it doesn't matter if you hit Yes or No - same result. On the print option window there is a range field - how do you enable it?

Patricia - there is a new option in User Preferences called 'Close forms dialog after print' that was introduced in OE81E. What is set here for the particular user? If it is enabled, try turning it off.

Mike - When you print a single form from the grid (ie Enter Orders or Invoices), only one form can be printed at a time. If you find the respective print function from the Order Entry menu (ie Print Order Confirmations or Print Invoices), then the range will be active to print, fax, email or generate PDFs for multiple documents.

I'm adding to this thread in case the cause is related.

Using "Order Entry" | "Print Invoices" results in a "Nothing in range to print" message. This occurs even if the range is blank to ZZZZZZZZ and the "Reprint invoices already printed" option is checked. It also occurs if you select a particular Invoice from the finder. There are indeed invoices available, some of which are printed and others not printed.

Have you tried this with sample data? Do you get the same results? I'm not experiencing this particular problem at all.

It's particular to their live data. What would make Adagio think that there are no printable invoices in a range?

The selection ranges on the dialog. Turn off remember form settings, try again, then turn it back on.
