Has anyone ever had an incident where going to print a batch listing the status doesn't change if you print to file (word or excel)?

A client had this happen and I figured the batch was too large for a word or excel file thus the system is reading that the entire batch was not printed, so I printed the batch listing to PDF and the status changed.

Am I right with the batch being too large for the .doc or .xls files, is there any other reason why this would happen that I can tell the client to be aware of?

We had a client complain of the same thing, where they had 1 batch in a bunch that they could not get the status to update by printing to file. I didn't get the chance to see their batch in detail but I know it contained 1300+ transactions, so I think you're onto something here...

There's no reason not to use the AdagioPDF printer to print to file, and then the print status will be properly updated regardless of the size of the batch.

ePrint solves this problem completely.
