Good day.
In the middle of posting a batch, my general ledger module froze and indicated 'not responding'. I can now go back into the module and view but if I try and create a batch, I am told 'error 1342 occurred when attempting to append record to batch control file'; a data integrity check stalls at 'checking batch control files'; and I cannot do a back up.
This problem exists only in one company, I am still able to operate in the general ledger module in other companies.
