We have 4 stocking locations. In addition to these we have a program with our dealers where we send them inventory at no charge for installs. The inventory is technically still owned by us until an install has been completed at which time we invoice it out. To keep track of the inventory in the meantime, I set up Inventory Locations for each of the dealers that we're sending stock to and then stock transfer the product from our location to theirs and ship it to them. Instead of having 4 stocking locations we now have over 60 and growing. Is there an easier way to keep track of our inventory at all of these dealers locations? Is it possible to set up sub-locations so that 1 location could have 60 or more sub-locations? Is there a way to differentiate between our 4 stocking locations and our dealers that are on this special program? Any ideas??
