We use Adagio for 3 of our companies. One company always retrieves and assigns entries to period based on date. The other two companies use 'specific period'. I have created the next fiscal year in all 3 companies and have been retrieving without problems for the company that uses 'period based on date'. I'm just now trying to retrieve for the company that uses specific period' and am confused!

I have all of my january 2009 AP transactions that need to be retrieved into the next year. I chose to assign entries based on specific period. I chose period 1 (eventhough it was 1/31/08 as opposed to 09). The batch went into the current year instead of going to the next year. How do I get this into the next year now? And how should I have done this so I do it correctly in the future?

Of note, when I use the period based on date, the system automatically retrieved the 2009 dated batches into the next year and the 2008 batches into the current year as expected.

Please help!
