I set up a Windows Terminal Server with a primary partition that has Windows installed on it (C:\drive) and an extended partition that holds the Adagio software and databases. I assigned drive letter 'I:' to that logical drive on that partition. We used to have a Netware volume mapped as the I: drive on client computers and I didn't want to screw up any path variables.
When I performed the initial Adagio workstation install on the Terminal Server after logging in as a user, a pop-up message appeared saying somehting along the lines of "This product is supposed to be run from a network drive like 'F:' or 'H:'. Your 'I:' drive is not a network drive. Do you want to proceed?".

The install finished without errors and I seem to be able to run Adagio without problems.

My question: is there any reason why this wouldn't work? Does it really matter whether or not the I: drive is a network drive or a local drive? I've read about users running Adagio locally on an XP machine...

Any insights or feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Andre
