It is possible within Adagio Financial Statements to apply the conditional RowFormat to only particular columns instead of the entire row.

RowFormat will not over-ride any formatting you have specifically set on a cell (except for columns A and B, which don't print for SmartSheets). If you set the colour of a cell to be Black (instead of Default) and conditional formatting would change the font colour to Red, then that cell will not print with Red colour, even if it meets the RowFormat criteria.

The same goes for Bold/Italic, size, background cell colour, borders, or any of the settings for Format Cells. If you only set the colour to Black but don't set the font type to Normal, then a BoldRed conditional format will leave a cell black but change the font to Bold. You need to specify all formats on a cell you don't want over-ridden by the conditional RowFormat - which could be useful for taking some but not others.

In essence, you have to format the cells of all the columns you don't want conditionally changed to the formatting you want maintained. Typically, you would Collapse a SmartSheet and apply the formatting on the appropriate cells of the .Range rows.

If you want to allow the cell to accept RowFormat settings, do not change the cell format at all. If you have made a format change and want to change it back, you need to copy a cell that has not been edited and paste it overtop.
