We have discovered some date anomolies since the beginning of the year, and we imagine, since the latest Rentrak update. I would just like to confirm our assumptions:
- in Contracts, the Start and End dates of some existing contracts have given us messages when accessing that the "End Date" is earlier than the "Start Date", and we must change them before leaving that screen
- we are assuming that the dates in Contracts (as they are still 2 digit dates) are as follows:
- 00 to 89 now refer to 2000 to 2089
- 90 to 99 still refer to 1990 to 1999
- in Rental Lines, if we were not "billing in advance", our recurring billing feature would not be functioning properly. As Several of the Out dates are considered to be in the latter part of the 21st century. On these lines we assume:
- 01/01/00 to 03/31/90 = 2000 to 2090
- 04/01/90 to 12/31/99 = 1990 to 1999
Also anytime an Out date was earlier than 04/01/90, the Due date appears to be changed to 04/01/00.

Are our assumptions correct?
Have Rentrak users been advised of the implications?

Thanks
