When I try to print cheques using Adagio Payables v6.8a I get the following error:
hpbf3120.drv - Pure virtual function called
I don't get this error when using a different printer (an HP Laserjet III, and and HP Laserjet 4000T.) I get this error on each computer I have tried it from (3 different ones). I have tried the PCL 6 and PCL 5e driver supplied with the printer and I've tried updating the driver from the HP website.
I have read the response to hwpl regarding the HP1200 printer error, and I created the cheque specification using a sample that had MICR encoding, but I deleted that portion as our cheques are printed with the account # etc. Is there any other change I have to make so that it is not trying to use MICR encoding?
Does anyone successfully use an HP Laserjet 1200 printer to print cheques, and if so what driver are you using, or do you have any suggestions?
What printers, that are on the market currently, and are not too expensive (in the same range as the HP 1200), are being used successfully to print cheques?
Thanks for any help anyone can offer.
