FX 9.3B 210325 has the option to automate Department import.
GL 9.3B 220504 doesn't have this option

Is there a reason for not enabling automation of Departments import in the GL?

We cannot import batches for those departments in an automation because there isn't a department import option.

Good question, that option should exist.

In the mean-time, you can use the department import on start up.

I have added suggestions to the wishlist to update Automation with more Nouns for the Import Command for both FX and Ledger.

Thank you support. The autoimport was not a solution as required confirmation to do the import at login. Furthermore, in this GL version 9.3B 220504, the Process Imports in the User Preferences doesn't trigger the templates that have auto-import at start up.

Yes, you are right. Some of the imports set to 'Auto-import on startup?' are not behaving as they should. I have forwarded this issue to R&D.
