We are receiving reports of unexpected exits from Adagio related to Report printing and a recent Windows 11 update.

The Windows 11 22H2 Feature update puts in a new .netframework.

We are investigating the issue and will post an update when we have more information. In the meantime, please avoid installing this update.

I will also add that if you installed the update, you may be able to go back to the previous Windows build if it's been less than 10 days. But you may have to re-install any applications or drivers that were updated/installed after the 22H2 update. So a backup of your system is highly recommended.
I did the roll back for one client and they were good to go after I re-installed their main printer driver.

Here's a video on how to do the roll back: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rc34BjMtsyw

At this point of time, we would not recommend the users to update Windows 11 as we can see more patches is being released by Microsoft to fix their issues. Even printing and other issues been identified in windows 11 and Microsoft is releasing the patch quickly to make the OS stable.

The Technical team is in the process of investigation and can provide more update before Mon - Nov 14th / Tue - Nov 15th.

Hi @All,

After lot of investigations and expert's opinion, We've learned that windows 11 update of 22H2 is not compatible for the reporting requirement. In the past 2 days, We've observed lot of people in the community is escalating the same. To add more, even some of the news channels reported this. So it is highly inevitable to wait till the next update from the Microsoft. we would strongly recommend the user's of windows 11 not to update the windows 11 to 22H2. We'll keep you posted as we get the updates.

I am at a client today, performing an upgrade for their modules.
Everything is working nicely, except for one user who's computer is running Win 11 with Update 22H2.
And sure enough, clicking Printing and Preview simply closes the Adagio module.

As has been mentioned, as Dealers we cannot always control the workstations that our clients are using.
We really need a solution to this issue.
Has there been any progress in finding a solution?

Thought I would add this information here:

I had some interesting testing results on my brand-new laptop running Windows 22H2 with all current updates. I installed GL and AP current version NFRs. GL crashes regardless of what crystal report I run. But what's interesting is that AP runs the reports if I run a batch listing report first. After that, any report I try in the Reports menu works. However, if the first report I run on that log in session of AP is not a batch listing, the reports all crash. I managed to repeat this several times.

After that, I installed AR and, like GL, it didn't matter if I ran a batch listing first. It would crash on all reports. I haven't had time to try any other modules.

So what is different in AP?
