Does anybody has Adagio working on Azure with VDI infrastructure?

I have a client using VDI internally. It's actually a client I share with another dealer so I don't have too much direct contact with VDI. My main impression is that it makes installing new versions or service packs much more involved. It seems there's a master image which needs to be rolled out to other server users and that means that IT is involved every time. It's not clear how or if users can customize their environments if images are rolled out to users on a regular basis.

Thank you Bruce. Sounds ugly. It takes away the beauty of RDS sessions.
