With the changes enacted by the IRS for 2020, the 1099-MISC form has been redesigned, and there is a new 1099-NEC form to be used for payments to non-employees. Don't expect to be able to print 1099's in the manner you have used in prior years.

Also, within two years, anyone needing to file more than 10 1099s will have to file with the IRS electronically, which is something that Adagio is not capable of doing.

Either the 1099 function will need to be enhanced, or instructions should be provided for exporting the 1099 information to Excel in a format that can be read by a dedicated 1099 program such as 1099Express.
