Client is using Receipts in IC.
Occasionally they have clicked “Complete”, not realizing that the Receipt has not yet been Posted.
Once Complete, we cannot undo this. So, the Receipt can no longer be Posted.

Perhaps we can have a warning if we click Complete when the Receipt has not been Posted yet?
This at least will alert the user and they can hopefully make the appropriate choice.

Fortunately Receipts has a copy function and you can copy the completed receipt to a new one with a different receipt number. Of course the user has to recognize the error. Softrak support is aware of this problem and hopefully will take care of it sometime in the future.

Yes, we have used the COPY feature to redo a Receipt that a user completed before it was posted.

Install the Inventory 93A (20.07.08) HF. From the Release Notes:
Receipts with the Type of Entered can no longer be changed to the Type of Complete. Posted Receipts with a Type of Active can be changed to Complete.
