I have been getting an incorrect extended cost on about a dozen occasions since upgrading to OrderEntry 9.3A (200521). An item with 0 qty shipped is showing an ext cost = to what was shipped previously on the order. It doesn't seem to be affecting inventory control. I have added a link to an image for a visual. Not sure how to correct this.

Hello Doug,

This is not an error. You have partially invoiced the Order. The Invoice for the items in the quantity shipped to date are where the Ext Cost is from.

Should the Ext Price be displaying the price of the partially invoiced order as well? Is there a column that displays the extended cost and price for the current invoice?

Hello Doug,

No, the Ext Order Price shows the price of the unshipped items extended. Ext Price shows 0 unless there is a quantity 'Shipped'.

For most Inventory costing methods, Cost is only an estimate until the Invoice is dayended and there is no Extended Cost stored for the items still on order. If there is a quantity 'Shipped' on the Order, the Ext Cost will be an estimate for that quantity.
