How do I (as the system administrator) enable the "Create" button on the Open Adagio Ledger Data window?

Edit the shortcut icon to add /C. For instance, my Receivables shortcut is: C:\Softrak\Receivables\Receivables.exe /C

So I'm trying to create a new company and when I get to the point of entering my company name in Adagio I get the following error:

Critical Error: [4107] file is corrupt (free list)

Is this a system thing or an Adagio thing? Any idea why it is happening?

What module, version (still 9.3A?), release date are you using? At the beginning of this thread, it was Ledger 9.3A. Are you still using Ledger? I ask because I am not receiving that error in the Ledger module at all.

Have you tried rerunning the program you are using and pointing it at the folder you were creating the new data in? Does the data open successfully? If so, run DIC and ensure it has no errors then carry on. I would still like confirmation of the module etc you are using.

So we're running 9.3A (180422).
I did re-run the program and pointed it at the folder that contained the new data, and it seemed to open up fine. So I'm not sure why the error occurred (or what the error was) but it doesn't look like it has actually held me up at all.

Okay, that explains why you received an error and I didn't. That's an old release of GL.

In future, please always indicate the program name, version and release date when you're requesting assistance.

I'm glad things are running well for you now.
