Hi,

A large client recently asked if there is a way to suppress or block out the calendar days in Adagio Order Entry, so that say holidays such as Memorial Day would not be acceptable for the expected delivery dates.

Same for any statutory holidays or days when a company is closed for business.

We thought this was a great idea but not sure how to do in Adagio. Is this controllable in Adagio or is this driven by the regional settings or calendars in Windows?

If this is not controllable in Adagio, then it should be made a controllable filter by enterprise. Or even a controllable colour filter (similar to the weekend colours) would be useful so that if you are looking at the calendar, an informed Adagio user can tell that the day being scheduled for a future date is considering a stat holiday or company closure date.

Thanks,
Brian

We considering this you need to be able to differentiate between US and Canada "Ship-to" addresses so that the Expected Ship date can differentiate between US and Canada holidays.

Then you have to figure out issues like US Holiday Thursday (Thanksgiving?) which results in many businesses being closed on Friday.

The way Time & Attendance solutions deal with this problem is by allowing you to manually maintain which days that you want to define a "closed" (stat holidays).

For Adagio the added complexity is having to maintain two sets and to then use the correct one based on the Country field in the Ship-to address.
