I have been trying to print a departments report, but each time that I have attempted I get a pop-up that Adagio Leger has stopped working and to close the program. Is there a setting or template issue I can look for?

Hi, Barry,

Just to confirm, you're running Reports | General Reports | Departments from the Ledger menu? Or, are you running File | Departmental Print from within the Financial Reporter?

If you select Help | About from within whichever product the error occurs, can you tell us the version and, if there release date of the product?

Are you able to print other reports successfully with this data set? Are you able to print the Departments report from Ledger or the Financial Reporter using another data set?

I have a client with this issue, insofar as I can read between the lines of Barry's posting.

I have been emailing tech support on this. As part of the troubleshooting, I re-installed Adagio (no luck). Yesterday I had the client try running the financials from a different workstation, and since I haven't heard back, I'm assuming the problem is isolated to one workstation.

Tech support suggested that the client re-create the user's profile in Windows - I am not sure if they have done that yet (I think not).

I was trying to run the report from the Ledger menu. We are using Adagio Ledger 9.3a Version 9.3.0.16

Thanks. That's actually GL9.3A(180422).

Questions:

You still didn't say if you can print other reports using this data set from Ledger's Reports menu. Can you?

If you were to open sample data (probably located at Softrak\Ledger\Samdata on the server, with a data extension of SAM), are you able to print the Departments report successfully now?

I ask because I am not having any problems printing this report using sample data here, nor with other data sets that are available to me.

IF you are unable to print the report using sample data either, please drill down to the Softrak\Ledger\StandardReports folder on your server (or your local w/s if this is a local install of Ledger), locate the Aldept_v2.rpt file and check it's Date modified. It should be 12/04/2017 (Dec. 4th)

IF you are able to print the report using sample data, then this indicates that the issue lies with the data set being used. If that's the case, is it possible for you to zip up the GL data and upload it to our database repair site at softrak.com/dbr and flag it for TechSupport?

Let me know the answers to these questions and we'll go from there.
