I'm looking at the table PODetailsMaster12Composite_au92acln, and there is a field called "MostRecentDate". What I'm looking for is the most recent date that our company placed an order for a product. Let's say we purchased it 20 times, I need the date of the very last purchase order. Is that what "MostRecentDate" means? If not, where can I find that information.

NOTE; I could not find a delete button to remove this question, but the answer is that the PO Order date is contained in table POHeader_av92ahed. If you know how to delete a post, please let me know.

No, I believe that field is the date the detail line on the PO was most recently edited.

The inventory master table has a field called "Last Rcpt Date". That is not quite the same as the date you placed a PO, because the PO might still be outstanding, but I think it is the closest you are going to get without having to work a lot harder.

If you are using Sundry Items instead of Inventory, you can find the "Last Rcpt Date" field there as well in the Sundry master item table.

Thanks Steve... Yes, after a review, that date is the last date the item was touched, even by an edit. I appreciate your comments.

You can get the most recent date from a column by asking GridView to display the Maximum Date on a date column and then producing a summary reports.

Attached is a View that lists the items that have been on a PO and shows the date of the most recent PO they have appeared on.

Perhaps this might be useful in getting the information you need.
