Hello Support,

Client is getting the error during EFT Check Run in "TelPay" EFT Batch Creation dialog:

Error (EFT02) cannot create EFT batch file.
<OK>

Please advise ASAP what is the possible problem.

Hi, Vlad,

Will you confirm the version(release date) of AP that's being used please?

This error message occurs when we can/t create/write to the EFT file/log.

Do the path and filename exist based on the EFT settings? The file needs to be updateable.

Does the EFTlog.txt file exist in the Payables program folder?

Log file is ok: Client runs multiple companies,
AP can create payment batch for all companies but for only one it cannot

Hi, Vlad,

That's good to know. The program is running as it should.

You'll want to compare the EFT provider setup and path to EFT file being created and ensure that all is set with the same user rights etc. as it is in the other data sets - same Windows rights access, not set as ReadOnly, etc.

I'm thinking the error occurs after you select the EFT button from the EFT Check run window (also assuming System not Manual Checks) and subsequently select the Generate button. If anything different, you'll need to let us know what.

What happens if you were to take a copy of this dataset and put it on your system. Are you able to generate the file then?

If it fails on your site also, upload it to our dbr site and flag it for Tech Support. We'll take a look.
