I just completed my year end processing and I went into "edit period end dates" and they appeared to be all messed up. Also, there are only 11 "periods" and not 12. What date should I have in each of those periods for 2017?

Hi Holquist:
I believe the 'Edit Period End dates' show the last time 'Month End' was done in Adagio TIme & Billing and has nothing to do with 'Year End processing'.
They just show the last dates the Month-End was done, not the Fiscal periods in the current year like Ledger.
For instance, I only do month-end processing quarterly so my dates are:
Period 1; 12/31/16
Period 2; 9/30/16
Period 3; 6/30/16
Period 4; 3/31/16

my period end dates after I closed out 2016 are:

period 1 12 31 16
period 2 11 30 16
period 3 10 31 16
period 4 09 30 16
etc etc etc

period 11 02 29 16

this doesn't make any sense to me at all

Hi Holquist,

In Time&Billing, every time you run the Month End procedure, the date you used to log into Time&Billing will become the 'Last Month End Date'. This will appear as the 'Previous Period 1' cutoff date. It will also bump down all of the other previous period end dates. It is expected that these dates will appear in reverse sequential order, with the latest Month End Date at the top, and older dates going down the list.

Indeed there are only 11 cut-off dates listed on this screen, to signify the Current period (anything later than the last period end date), and 11 more groups for a total of 12. These column statistics are available to see in the Maintenance / Edit Customer History function.
