Hi,

We upgraded to the latest AP version (9.2B 161208), and now the transactions in a customers grid are no longer sorted - not by date, invoice number - not by anything.

This has made it cumbersome and unnecessarily time consuming to merely look for the last payment made to a vendor. Our vendor list is long, and many have a huge list of transactions in one month. The workaround for checking transactions is to use excel - but that shouldn't be necessary.

More important is when we try to pay a vendor. Those with multiple open invoices take so long and the process has already lead to human error.

Can you kindly tell me when this will be fixed - or should I ask our consultant to roll us back (if that's even possible) to the prior version?

I'm sorry but we are unable to provide an answer to your when will this be fixed question. There are just too many variables and considerations that affect this.

Rolling back to a prior version, is not possible. Your prior version data has already been converted to 9.2B.

Hi Support:

Can you elaborate on this issue? Does it only occur under certain conditions (perhaps unknown at the moment)?

It looks as if the user is referring to the Transactions tab on the Vendor screen. But in my experience with AP 9.2B so far, the transactions are sequenced correctly.

Yes, in 9.2A, the vendor's outstanding invoices on the MC Check screen were sorted by Trx Date. In 9.2B, they're not.

For this site, this is a problem due to the volume of invoices they receive from some vendors.

You are correct - I was mistaken. It's a problem in the MC Check screen only, not the vendor transaction screen. Our problem in the vendor transaction screen is due to the way we used to number invoices which weren't assigned by the vendor.
