i was adding a bank to our AP program setting up a new company.
I created a bank called CIBC but then no banks show up so I tried to recreate it but when i type CIBC it says that is already created. Then when I print a cheque it won't let me select a bank it creates a violation error and then when I type CIBC into bank it comes back with this error message and closes screen.

What version of Adagio Payables do you have?

This was a known problem using version 8.1F, and fixed with version 9.2A:

In some cases in the Payables 8.1F when a dataset was newly created or converted from DOS versions, the Bank files were not created properly. This caused the Banks grid to show no banks and errors when you tried to add a bank.
