We try our best to re-use paper when printing internal reports and have noticed since upgrading to the latest version of the GL (Ledger 9.2A 150903)the manual feed option no longer works.
For example, if I want to print a Detail Listing, choose Setup|Paper Source|Manual Feed, it used to prompt for manual feed, now it auto prints. I can get around it by selecting the properties of the printer and changing it there but then what's the point of this option on the Printer Setup menu?

Sometimes the Printer Setup does not communicate properly with the actual printer driver. What model of printer are you using, and have you made sure that you are running the most up to date printer driver?

Why not dispense with paper entirely and generate a PDF? It sounds like you are going to be throwing out the printout anyway. You have two monitors on your desk, of course.

ePrint is an even better way of saving paper...

We PDF pretty well everything but every now and then we need to print a hard copy of a one-pager that we would like to print on manual feed.
I've done further testing and I'm having the same problem with another printer as well (HP4350 and Minolta Bizhub C353). The manual feed works if I select it from the preview screen though...
There is a work around to get the manual feed to function but I think the Setup button | Manual Feed option should also work.
