Is the entire Adagio Ledger application needed to be installed for ODBC to work?

Or is it possible to only have certain files and file structure that would allow for ODBC to extract data?

Example would be AL90DMST in file GLMAST'R.SAM.

I only want to connect to this file and extract the data without the entire Adagio Ledger application.

The reason is when we are demoing our product to prospects we would like to ask them to send us the files with the data we are extracting and do a live demonstration for them.

I already tried this but I was prompted by the ODBC for currency and task files. It is apparent that there is still some other dependencies and I am not sure if I was 90% there to getting it working or if in the end the full application is needed.

You do not need all the files..

GLMAST*.* and GLGLOB.* would be the files needed from the prospects data.

The "demo" folder where you copied your prospects GLMAST*.* and GLGLOB.* will have a different file extension, not .SAM

Copy the ADSPROF.SAM from your Adagio Sample Data ( ..\Softrak\LEDGER\SAMDATA\ ) to the prospect folder changing the data selector to match.
