On behalf of a client who I just upgraded from Plus to Adagio and who is very upset, is there any way to include the zip code right after the state on an invoice? Their customer addresses are formatted. I'd really rather not have to unformat the addresses and move the zip up to the City, ST line.

Steve:

I think this has been an outstanding complaint with the Adagio spec editor (all modules) for sometime. I don't believe that either compressed or formatted resolves this issue.

I'll admit to being slightly out of touch (so I could be wrong) as I always use PrintBoss, which deals with zip/postal codes properly.

Hi Doug

Actually, the formatted spec codes do work in Invoices, and they work in OrderEntry so long as you don't mind that they pull the address from the customer master rather than from the bill-to section of the order/invoice.

I will ask the client if they ever overwrite the bill-to address, and if not, I think I have a reasonable workaround for now.

They will soon own PrintBoss, so that's a possible solution too.
