We are not able to get enough detail from the reports in JC (even utilizing Gridview) and I'm wondering when/if Optional Fields will be added. For example, identifying individual jobs that need Certified Payroll, Union Install, etc., to avoid project related problems.

Hi, Karen,

GridView is able to read information stored in an Excel workbook as long as it resides in the data folder and you have your GV Defaults set to 'Include external tables'.

Your Adagio consultant would be able to assist you with this set up.

I'll add a suggestion to R&D about Optional Fields in JobCost for you.

Our consultant did mention what you suggest but did not think it would be effective for our needs.

I'm hopeful you'll have some influence in getting optional fields added to JC in the near future.
